The COSEE Network has acknowledged the importance of increasing and diversifying the ocean workforce. Network goals include gathering and synthesizing the best information available to define and describe ocean-related jobs, their relationship to the ocean economy, and present and future workforce trends, with an emphasis on ocean science and technology occupations.
