The Center for Ocean Sciences Education
Excellence - West is proud to announce our public
lecture series for 2010-2011.
Join K-12 teachers, the public, and
professional ocean science researchers to explore current research in the ocean sciences and its relationship to our daily lives.
Teachers and informal educators are
invited to meet with the speakers and COSEE-West staff
at the event for more content information and to discuss ways to teach the topics in your classrooms.
Lectures are open to everyone and are appropriate for high school students and adults.
Please check the calendar periodically. Details will be added as events are finalized. The public is also invited to some of the lectures by research scientists that are listed on the Teacher Workshop calendar. Public access depends on location of the workshop. Find out about these talks in the flyers posted on the Teacher Workshop calendar here.
