Procedure:
2. When the students are done, they will have a peer review their work.
3. After revisions, the students will read their chapters aloud to the class.
Assessment:
2. Students will read their chapter orally. (Criteria for success: Students will read their writing in front of the class.)
3. Students will hand in their rough drafts and peer evaluations. (Criteria for success: Students will have made 5 comments, out of these, 3 are positive)

2. The students will evaluate themselves and their peers.

2. Art supplies: markers, paper, scissors, etc.

Procedure:
2. Each group will have to decide which scene that they want to act out.
3. Each group will have to decide characters, lines and props.
4. When they are finished, they will act the scene out in front of the class (Videotaping is optional).
5. Students will evaluate themselves and the members of their group (see self evaluation rubric and group evaluation rubric).
Assessment:
2. Students will hand in group and self evaluations. (Criteria for success: Students will have a majority of ones.)
3. Students will use their props in their role play. (Criteria for success: Each group will have at least 1 prop.)

3. Write a chapter that would fit at the beginning of the book.
4. Write an alternative ending.
5. Students choose a character from the book and write a new story from the characters point of view.
