Group Membership and Roles
Each group will consist of 3-4 members depending on class size.
Each member will have a chance to play each of the following roles. The teacher will alternate roles on each lesson.
Captain:
The captain is the leader of the group for that day. He/She will make sure everyone is learning the appropriate material and will tutor group members if needed.
First Mate:
Will assist the captain when needed.
Will supervise and maintain advertising.
Navigator:
Will keep the group on task.
Will be the accountant.
Lookout:
Will collect any supplies needed for the lessons that day.
Will be responsible for the loading and unloading of cargo. Making sure that the ship is not overloaded.
* Responsibilities for roles may be altered to fit the different lessons.
