Procedure

1. Remind students of deadlines.

2. Encourage those who are not finished with their written pieces to finish early in the hour.

3. Get class started on their illustrations (remind them of requirements)

4. While class works on the illustrations, have them come to the instructor for individual reviews. Make sure work is publish-able.

Materials

Art materials (paper, crayons, colored pencils, markers, water color paints)

Assessment for Day Four

1. Evaluate with each individual student their progress.

• Should have final draft of story completed

• Should be started on their picture
