Each team can chose one of the following forms of media for their presentation: radio, television, or newspaper. Think of some idea related to rescue, such as a story of a real-life rescue, interviews with lifeguards, role play a rescue, or create a commercial or ad related to rescue. Be creative with this project! Once your general idea has been approved by your teacher, your team will create a media presentation about the rescue. If you need any assistance with any media equipment, such as a video camera or a tape recorder, each team will have access to the school equipment.
Radio Guidelines - approximately 5 minutes long:
- Each team will turn in a script of their show.
- Each team will turn in a tape of their show.
- Each show will include a minimum of 2 ads, which will somehow advertise for anything related to "Rescue."
Newspaper Guidelines-Entire cover of a newspaper:
- Each team will turn in a rough draft of the newspaper.
- Each team will turn in a final copy of the newspaper.
- Each newspaper will include pictures and a minimum of 2 ads, which will somehow advertise for anything related to "Rescue".
Television Guidelines-approximately 3 minutes long:
- Each team will turn in a storyboard of their original idea.
- Each team will turn in a final video cassette of their television show.
- Each show will include a minimum of 2 commercials, which will somehow advertise for anything related to "Rescue".
