Procedures:
2.Ý The students may go to the library and utilize any resources that may be of aid to them (i.e. books on genealogy and heraldry, internet, articles or local history books, etc). Talk to the students about the importance of knowing one's own heritage or nationality. The students must find resources having to do with at least one nationality that they represent. These resources must be incorporated into their final project.
3.Ý The students will begin by constructing their family tree. They may construct it however they like and may go back as many generations as possible. Allow them time to write and construct their tree. They will have two hours of class time to work on their family tree, if they want they can take it home and finish it.
4.Ý The students will present their final projects to the class. If possible the students will bring a relative, or someone of their same heritage to help them present their project. Students will have 20-25 minutes to present. Depending on the class size, this may take a longer or shorter amount of time.
