Letter Sharing
Day 3
Goals:
2. Students will express their ideas clearly as they present the materials to small groups.

Note: During the first few days of this unit, the students wrote letters requesting general information on the island nation that they chose for their research projects as well as a letter requesting information about travel to that island nation.
Procedure:
2. The students will change groups two more times to look at all the different types of information received.
3. For the last thirty minutes of this period, the class will come together as a whole to look at the most prevalent information.
4. The students will talk about where they wrote for information, what they had anticipated they would receive, and what they actually received.
5. The students will share their information, where appropriate, to assist their peers on this project. (Students who did not receive any information yet will be able to share it when they receive it. However, for today they can look at their peers' information and find ideas for the planning of the trip and/or research on their island nation or they may find information on their island nation, on the Internet.)
