Goals:
2. Students will choose a partner and an island nation for their research project

Procedure:
2. Partners for this project will be chosen in a democratic way, or as seen fit by the teacher.
3. List Caribbean island nations on the board and distribute atlases.
4. When students find an island nation, they will raise their hands, and when called upon will go to the world map in the front of class and point it out.
5. This will continue until all the Caribbean island nations are identified.
6. Pairs of students will choose an island nation in a democratic way to research for their projects (as many island nations as possible will be represented with no duplicates of the same island nation).
